Alexander spent the night with Gams. Jakey was under the weather, so Xander had the place to himself. He had some good engineering practice. I've been told that the goal of "geotrax" is to use as many pieces as possible and try to minimize the dead ends (according to Gams and Xander this is not easy). Usually they get building plans off the the internet, but Alexander did this one on his own.
Sour Dough Pizza at Grandpa and Gams' house. Off to vote on the school bond issue and a few errands around town including a gift for Mother's Day. The Dad and I were scheduled to help the Presbyterians with their food pantry/food drive. We unloaded canned goods from USPS trucks. and ferried them over to the First Presbyterian Church.
There it all got sorted and counted and stored away. They have quite a system that manages about 300 families' food a week and a few walk-in folks every day.
Alexander and Elizabeth helped wrap and decorate Chris' present. Andy helped as well, but did not last long enough to get in the picture.
Chris spotted this scale at the thrift store. I've been looking for one of these for a while, so I got myself a "mother's day" gift while I was out.
Night ride to Target and 2 Walgreens to find ink for the printer. No success!
